Rev. Kris Key is Minister of Discipleship and Women’s Ministry at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia. Kris has a B.S. degree in accounting from Illinois State University, a Christian Edu. degree from United Theological Seminary, and is a Deacon in full connection of the North Georgia Conference. She and her husband Danny, a Minister of Music, have served together at Trinity for 10 years and previously at First United Methodist in Houston, Texas for 14 years under the late Dr. Bill Hinson. They are the parents of two married sons, Nick and Kyle.
Kris spent her formative years on a farm in Illinois where she developed a deep appreciation for God’s creation and a great love for a life of prayer. Kris has a passion for women’s ministry and desires to help women find their unique gifts and use them to glorify the Lord. She loves serving, encouraging, and working to enable women of all ages to delight in the Word of God. Her love of Scripture and prayer is evident in her involvement with the prayer ministry and development of Bible study opportunities for the family of God. Kris is an inspirational leader with a vision for transformative women’s ministry programs.
