Founded in 1967, the
mission of Good News is to be an evangelical voice within the United

biblically-based principles of its historic Wesleyan heritage. It

basic traditional doctrines and values. Good News magazine is

agency for evangelical United Methodists whom God has called into
cross-cultural ministry. Its chief objective is to win persons to
Christ and establish and strengthen the church."

Presbyterian Church USA, and the United Methodist Church. The IRD
sponsors the Ecumenical Coalition on Women and Society, and an
International Religious Freedom project. The IRD also acts as the
program and publicity arm of the Association for Church Renewal.
